This plan provides insurance coverage for your trip that applies only during the covered trip.   • Emergency Assistance & Transportation

    Benefits include transportation to the nearest suitable medical facility, help to return home if medically necessary and up to $10,000 in expenses for a companion to visit you if you are traveling alone and are hospitalized for more than 7 days..

  • Medical & Dental

    Provides coverage for the necessary medical, surgical and emergency dental care costs if you become sick or accidentally injured while on your covered trip. Coverage is in excess of your standard coverage, except where prohibited.

  • Accidental Death & Dismemberment – Travel Accident

    Provides coverage if you are injured by an accident, which occurs while you are on a trip, and you suffer the loss of life or limb within 365 days of the accident.

  • Trip Cancellation

    Provides reimbursement for unused, non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs if you are prevented from taking your trip due to a covered reason.

  • Trip Interruption

    Provides reimbursement for unused, non-refundable, pre-paid trip costs if your trip is interrupted due to a covered event. Also provides reimbursement for the additional transportation cost to return home or rejoin your group.

  • Rental Car Damage

    Provides primary coverage if your rental car is damaged due to collision, fire, flood, theft, vandalism, windstorm or hail.(Not available to residents of Texas & Washington)

  • Baggage

    Provides coverage for loss, theft or damage to your baggage and covered personal effects during your covered trip.

  • Baggage Delay

    Provides reimbursement for the purchase of necessary items if baggage is delayed (for the specified amount of hours located in your state specific document) during your covered trip.

  • 24/7 Emergency Assistance Services

    These services offer on-the-spot and immediate assistance for unexpected problems that can arise during your trip. The phone operates 24/7 for help anytime, any place while traveling. (Provided by Generali's designated provider)

  • Concierge Services

    Get pre-trip assistance, and help scheduling golf tee times, making restaurant, airline and rental car reservations, and ticketing for entertainment and other special events.

Once you've initiated your claim, your case will be assigned to a dedicated claims team member who will manage your claim from start to finish. Your dedicated claims team member will contact you if they have any questions or if any additional information is needed in order to finalize your claim.

Coronavirus Info

The Coronavirus outbreak is considered a foreseeable event as of January 29, 2020. This means coverage is unavailable for losses related to the Coronavirus if the insurance plan was purchased on or after January 29, 2020.

COVID-19 was formally declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. For insurance plans that exclude pandemics, coverage is unavailable for losses that occurred on or after March 11, 2020. Plan exclusions for a pandemic can vary according to your state of residence and the plan you purchased. To review your coverage details, please see your Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy.

For any plans that include coverage for losses due to sickness, we are providing coverage if you, a family member, or a traveling companion contract COVID-19 and plan requirements are met. Eligible coverages can include Trip Cancellation prior to your scheduled departure, Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Medical and Dental, and Emergency Assistance and Transportation coverage during your trip.
