DURHAM, NC – November 3, 2025 – Join DAN and your fellow dive industry professionals for the annual DAN Member Social on Tuesday, November 11, 6–9 p.m. Held in Grand Ballrooms C, D, and E at the Rosen Centre Hotel, this evening of conversation, refreshments, and fun is exclusively for DAN members. To improve the overall experience, DAN has streamlined the entry process and updated the event programming. We are excited to share these changes and celebrate with you at this year’s member appreciation event.
Event Registration and Entry
DAN members now have multiple options for event registration and entry:
- Online Registration: Members can register online for a free e-ticket, available through the Eventbrite event page. Upon registration, you’ll receive an e-ticket from Eventbrite. Please have this e-ticket ready to show at the door.
- Booth Registration and Wristband Pickup: Members who do not preregister through Eventbrite can still pick up a wristband from DAN’s booth, #621, on November 11 during show hours (10 a.m.–6 p.m.). Provide your membership information to booth staff to receive a wristband for the evening’s event. Please have your wristband ready to show at the door.
- Walk-up Registration: While we recommend online registration or same-day wristband pickup, members without an e-ticket or wristband can also visit a check-in table outside the ballroom doors to verify their DAN membership and gain entry. This may take longer than the other entry options. Show attendees without an active DAN membership have the option to join DAN at the check-in tables.
For faster, more convenient entry, we strongly encourage online registration via the Eventbrite page or same-day wristband pickup at DAN’s booth. Guests will queue at the doors of the event based on registration status, and DAN staff and clear directional signage will help guide you to the correct line.
Event Schedule
To further enhance the member experience, DAN has updated the evening’s program:
- 6 p.m. | Doors Open & Check-In: Show your Eventbrite e-ticket, wristband, or membership information to staff and enter through the ballroom doors. Each guest aged 21+ will receive two complimentary drink tickets upon entry.
- 6 – 6:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres & Drinks: Grab a drink at the full-service bar and enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres. Bars temporarily close 15 minutes before the start of the presentation.
- 6:45 p.m. | Bars Closed & Presentation Begins: Hear from DAN leadership, learn about our vision for the future, and celebrate improvements in dive safety.
- 7:15 p.m. | Small Plates Station Opens & Bar Reopens: Help yourself to the small plates station and visit the bar for another beverage.
- 9 p.m. | Event Concludes: Thank you for being a DAN member and for joining our celebration! Pick up a complimentary gift as you depart.
Throughout the event, attendees can also enjoy the step-and-repeat photo area, 360° video booth, Veterans Day photo booth, and DAN CPR Challenge zone.
