Help Improve Care for Injured Divers — Donate to DAN

DURHAM, NC – May 1, 2024 – Divers Alert Network® (DAN®), the world’s leading dive safety organization, has launched its spring giving campaign. DAN is asking divers to donate in support of its work to improve care for injured divers worldwide.

Since its inception in 1980, DAN’s purpose has been to prevent dive accidents and mitigate their impact. Through its emergency hotline and first aid courses, the organization has improved the outcomes of dive accidents for countless divers. Through its medical information line, research, and publications, it has provided divers with crucial knowledge. Through its membership and insurance coverage, DAN has protected tens of thousands of divers from financial hardship following expensive evacuations and chamber treatments.

Not only does DAN work directly with divers and dive professionals, it works with health care providers and medical facilities around the world to ensure that divers can get the care they need — no matter where they are. Through continuing medical education and DAN Academies of Dive Medicine for physicians, DAN advances medical providers’ expertise. Through its Recompression Chamber Network (RCN), physician referral network, and Recompression Chamber Assistance Program (RCAP), DAN has established a global safety net for divers.

Please donate today at DAN.org/Give in support of DAN and its work to ensure divers can safely explore the underwater world. Thank you for your support!
