[SPONSORED] Philippines Aggressor Introduces Two New Dive Itineraries: Historic Wrecks, Pristine Reefs, and the Heart of Philippine Diving

AUGUSTA, GA — Aggressor Adventures® is excited to announce two brand-new itineraries aboard the Philippines Aggressor, launching November 7, 2026. These new routes showcase the very best of Philippine diving, combining legendary World War II shipwrecks, thriving coral reef systems, and some of the most biodiverse waters on Earth.

Designed for both history-minded wreck divers and reef enthusiasts, the new itineraries offer expanded access to Coron, Apo Reef, Batangas, and Anilao, with all diving conducted from tenders for maximum flexibility and site access.

“These new itineraries represent the best of what the Philippines has to offer divers,” said Wayne Brown, CEO of Aggressor Adventures®. “From iconic WWII wrecks in Coron to the extraordinary biodiversity of Apo Reef, Verde Island, and Anilao, we’re giving guests the opportunity to experience an incredible range of diving on a single voyage. It’s a natural evolution of our Philippines program and one we’re very excited to introduce.”

7-Night Coron Diving Itinerary

For wreck diving enthusiasts, Coron represents the pinnacle of diving in the Philippines. This itinerary focuses on historically significant World War II shipwrecks sunk during U.S. bombing raids on the Japanese fleet in 1944. Now reclaimed by the sea, these massive steel vessels are draped in corals and teeming with marine life. Divers can explore cargo holds, engine rooms, and passageways, experiencing one of the world’s most fascinating underwater museums.

The itinerary also includes diving at Apo Reef Natural Park, the largest coral reef system in the Philippines and the second-largest contiguous coral reef system in the world, after Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Located off Occidental Mindoro, Apo Reef is a protected biodiversity hotspot featuring expansive reefs, deep channels, and exceptional coral and marine life. The area is widely regarded as a premier dive destination and a potential UNESCO World Heritage Site.

10-Night Coron – Batangas Diving Itinerary

This extended itinerary combines the Philippines’ most iconic wreck and reef regions into one comprehensive adventure. In Coron, guests explore the same legendary WWII wrecks, now thriving artificial reefs rich with marine life and history. The voyage also includes multiple dives at Apo Reef Natural Park, offering dramatic walls, healthy coral gardens, and encounters with large pelagic species.

In Batangas, diving around Verde Island delivers exhilarating currents, dense fish schools, and impressive pelagic action. Known as the “Center of the Center of Marine Biodiversity,” Verde Island sits within the Verde Island Passage and boasts some of the highest marine biodiversity on the planet.

Guests will also visit Anilao, widely considered the birthplace of Philippine diving and a world-renowned destination for macro photography, vibrant reefs, and exceptional marine diversity. Select itineraries may include dives near Malajon and Dimipac Islands, where guests may have the rare opportunity to observe dugongs in their natural habitat.

All diving on both itineraries is conducted from tenders, allowing access to a wide variety of wreck, reef, wall, and current-driven dive sites throughout the voyage.

These new itineraries further strengthen Aggressor Adventures’ commitment to delivering immersive, expertly curated dive experiences in the world’s most extraordinary destinations.
