DAN’S NEW OFFICIAL PODCAST, The DANcast, delivers safety insights through engaging conversations from across the dive industry. This series blends practical knowledge with personal stories to inform and inspire the dive community.
Building on DAN’s educational mission, the podcast empowers listeners to deepen their understanding, dive with greater confidence, and make smarter, safer decisions during their adventures.
The show brings together diverse voices — top safety and medical experts, leading researchers, major gear manufacturers, award-winning underwater photographers and filmmakers, experienced dive operators, and other passionate professionals who believe in DAN’s mission. These guests will offer valuable insights from their decades of combined experience in the underwater world.
Episodes will cover wide-ranging topics that appeal to seasoned and new divers alike. Listeners can expect in-depth discussions of emerging scientific research, training practices, technological innovations, environmental conservation efforts, social media strategies, underwater photography and filmmaking, and more.
The podcast’s first season debuts in early 2025, and new episodes will release every two weeks. The launch features special editions recorded live at the 2024 DEMA Show in Las Vegas.
