DAN Course Facilitation is a new member benefit for active DAN members who are also dive professionals. By completing an e-learning module, you will be authorized to send certain DAN e-learning modules to your students and be able to track their progress and completion. (Those modules are covered in the e-learning). This is a free member benefit available only to dive pros. A current DAN membership is required to access this e-learning and to be able to send e-learning invitations and track your students’ progress.
If you don’t already have a DAN E-Learning account, go to DAN.DiverELearning.com and register for a free account. Just be sure the email address you use to set up the e-learning account is the same e-mail address that’s associated with your DAN member account. If you already have an account, just log in to DAN E-Learning.
To find the required e-learning module, once you are logged in to e-learning go to the “Available” tab. Scroll down until you see the e-learning module titled “DAN Course Facilitation.” Complete that e-learning, and upon successful completion you will automatically be approved to teach several of the courses we offer. (Note: This won’t make you a DAN Instructor — that requires completion of a different e-learning course and a workshop with a DAN Instructor Trainer.)
