DAN strengthened its commitment to dive medicine research and education at this year’s Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society Annual Scientific Meeting (UHMS ASM) in Denver, Colorado.

DAN announced its support as a founding collaborator for Rescue Diver Ready, a new initiative to help divers become better prepared for safe diving.

DAN has released a new e-learning course, Surface Support: Navigating Trauma After a Dive Incident. This free online course is designed to provide divers with a foundational understanding of how stress and trauma can affect both themselves and others after a dive incident.

DAN successfully completed its “One Thousand in One Thousand” initiative in Indonesia. The program equipped 1,000 dive industry support professionals with lifesaving first aid and emergency oxygen skills within 1,000 days.
